MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER (SALES)
Your main responsibilities are to market and sell Singapore EXPO and MAXAtria as a multi-purpose venue for international conventions and meetings, banquets, concerts and other events. Your key objective is to maximise occupancy and revenue in order to achieve the business targets of the company. You will establish and manage customer relationships and provide value-added services in order to generate new and repeat businesses. You will also be required to oversee the event from the initial sales process to completion.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business and / or Hospitality and Tourism preferred
- Minimum 2 - 8 years of sales experience (Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for senior roles)
- Deep passion for sales with a proven solid track record
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills
- Meticulous, detailed, resourceful, independent and a team player
- Willing and able to work long hours, when required
- Able to travel overseas, when required
